This policy explains how Tteokbokki collects, uses, shares, retains, and deletes data for the app, website, support, and account requests.

Tteokbokki is responsible for the app, public website, support channels, deletion requests, and product operations described in this policy.
This policy applies to features when they are available or used, including lessons, stories, audio, speech practice, subscriptions, analytics, advertising, third-party sign-in, and AI-generated content.
Account and sign-in data such as user identifiers, third-party sign-in provider identifiers, email address when available, account status, settings, and consent choices.
Learning and product data such as selected language, level, progress, skill state, word state, lesson completion, answers, mistakes, review state, story choices, story unlock state, and content interaction history.
AI and generated-content data such as prompts, answers, translations, corrections, generated lesson or story outputs, model responses, safety signals, and feedback on generated content.
Audio, voice, and speech data such as microphone recordings, pronunciation attempts, transcripts, speech-recognition results, timing, scores, and related error reports when audio or speaking features are used.
Analytics events such as screens viewed, buttons tapped, lessons started and completed, streak or progress changes, paywall views, subscription events, restore-purchase attempts, onboarding steps, feature flags, errors, and performance measurements.
Device, IP, log, and diagnostics data such as IP address, approximate location inferred from IP, app version, build number, device type, operating system version, browser type, request logs, crash reports, API errors, and security logs.
Purchase data such as subscription product identifiers, transaction identifiers, renewal state, refunds, and entitlement status.
Advertising, marketing, attribution, and cookie data such as ad identifiers, campaign identifiers, referral source, cookie identifiers, consent status, ad impressions, clicks, and conversion events when advertising, attribution, or non-essential cookies are used.
Support data such as messages sent to support, privacy, legal, or security contact addresses, screenshots, attachments, contact details, verification details, and follow-up messages.
We use data to create, authenticate, link, protect, recover, and delete accounts.
We use data to synchronize progress, personalize learning, assemble lessons, operate stories, unlock content, evaluate answers, process audio and speech practice, generate or review learning content, and maintain entitlement access.
We use analytics events, logs, IP data, diagnostics, and crash reports to measure product usage, debug errors, improve reliability, prevent abuse, protect security, and understand subscription or onboarding performance.
We use purchase data to manage trials, subscriptions, renewals, refunds, entitlement checks, support questions, fraud prevention, and App Store compliance.
We use advertising, attribution, and cookie data to measure campaigns, operate ads when used, remember preferences, protect the website, and honor consent choices.
We use support and deletion-request data to answer messages, verify identity, investigate safety or security reports, enforce the terms, and meet legal obligations.
Where law requires a legal basis, Tteokbokki relies on contract performance, consent, legitimate interests, and legal obligations depending on the activity.
You can withdraw consent where consent is required, change app or device permissions, disable microphone access, limit ad tracking in device settings, use browser cookie controls, unsubscribe from optional emails, and request privacy rights at privacy@tteokbokki.co.
Some choices may limit features. For example, disabling microphone access prevents voice and speech-practice features from working.
The website and app may use essential cookies, local storage, SDK storage, server logs, IP logs, and security cookies to operate, remember settings, protect sessions, and prevent abuse.
Tteokbokki may use analytics events and diagnostics to understand product usage and reliability. Analytics data may include account identifiers, device identifiers, IP-derived region, app version, feature flags, and event properties.
Tteokbokki may use advertising, attribution, or marketing partners to measure campaigns, show ads, cap frequency, detect fraud, and understand installs or conversions. Non-essential cookies, advertising identifiers, and similar tracking are used according to applicable consent and device settings.
Lessons, examples, corrections, story text, translations, speech feedback, and other learning content may be generated, assisted, reviewed, or moderated by AI systems.
Text, answers, prompts, generated outputs, audio recordings, transcripts, and speech scores may be processed by AI, speech, safety, analytics, infrastructure, and support providers to operate the feature, improve quality, troubleshoot issues, prevent abuse, and enforce the terms.
Do not submit confidential, payment, health, government-identification, or other sensitive information into prompts, answers, support messages, screenshots, or voice recordings unless it is necessary for the request.
Tteokbokki does not use voice recordings to create a voice clone or impersonate a user.
Tteokbokki shares data with processors and service providers that help operate authentication, hosting, storage, databases, analytics, diagnostics, customer support, email, security, AI, speech processing, payments, subscriptions, advertising, attribution, and legal compliance.
The operating stack may include Apple for App Store distribution, purchases, sign-in, device services, and subscription management; Supabase for authentication and operational data; Cloudflare for DNS, static hosting, security, and logs; PostHog for product analytics; Sentry for diagnostics; and AI or speech providers for generated content, feedback, transcription, and safety processing.
Tteokbokki may disclose data when required by law, to protect rights, safety, and security, to investigate fraud or abuse, to complete a corporate transaction, or with your direction or consent.
Tteokbokki keeps account, learning, AI, audio, analytics, purchase, support, and log data for as long as needed to operate the service, provide support, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce terms, prevent fraud, protect security, and maintain backups.
You can request access, correction, deletion, export, objection, restriction, consent withdrawal, or other applicable privacy rights at privacy@tteokbokki.co. Tteokbokki may verify your identity before acting on a request.
Account deletion removes or anonymizes account data as described on the delete account page, subject to records retained for legal, security, fraud-prevention, financial, subscription, App Store, dispute, backup, or safety reasons.
Aggregated, de-identified, or anonymized data may be retained and used after account deletion when it no longer identifies you.
Tteokbokki uses administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect personal data, including access controls and service-provider controls.
Data may be processed in the United States and other countries where Tteokbokki or its providers operate. Where required, Tteokbokki uses appropriate transfer safeguards.
Tteokbokki is designed for adults and is not intended for children under 15.
Tteokbokki does not knowingly collect personal data from children under 15. If you believe a child under 15 provided personal data, contact privacy@tteokbokki.co so the account and related data can be reviewed and deleted.
Tteokbokki does not knowingly use personalized advertising or behavioral tracking for users known to be under 16.
